About Radio Maria Tanzania

Radio Maria Tanzania is a Catholic radio station committed to evangelization, education, and serving communities through quality radio programming and digital media.

The Technical Department plays an important role in supporting the station’s broadcasting and digital operations. The Assistant IT & Audio Frequency will work under the IT & AF Manager to provide technical assistance, maintain equipment, troubleshoot IT and audio-related problems, and support studio and broadcasting activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant IT & Audio Frequency will be responsible for the following duties:

1. IT and Technical Support

  • Provide basic IT and audio technical support to staff and Radio Maria operations.
  • Respond to technical support requests from users and assist in resolving routine problems.
  • Troubleshoot computers, software, network connectivity, and other IT-related issues.
  • Assist users with technical problems involving computer systems and applications.
  • Support basic data backup and data management activities.

2. Audio and Broadcasting Equipment

  • Set up, operate, and test microphones, mixers, speakers, amplifiers, and other sound equipment.
  • Assist with technical preparations for studio broadcasts and live programmes.
  • Support outside broadcast and event technical setups.
  • Ensure audio equipment is properly connected, configured, and ready for use.

Professional Experience
