Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Service Officer Intern will be responsible for supporting TNCC’s business development and private-sector activities. Key duties will include:
- Provide business development and entrepreneurship advisory services to entrepreneurs and businesses.
- Support businesses with registration, licensing, taxation, and compliance matters.
- Conduct business visits and undertake business assessments.
- Train entrepreneurs on financial management, marketing, and business management.
- Assist in identifying market opportunities and developing business linkages.
- Support membership recruitment and engagement activities.
- Represent TNCC at business forums, workshops, trade fairs, and related events.
- Collect and analyse business-related data.
- Prepare reports on business development activities and findings.
- Support other initiatives aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and private-sector growth in Manyara Region.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications or knowledge in taxation will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good analytical and computer skills.
- A strong interest in entrepreneurship and private-sector development.
- Initiative, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
- High levels of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
