Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Technical Leadership and Field Operations
- Lead strategic planning and prioritization of field-testing operations.
- Manage Tanzania’s breeding testing network.

- Optimize field testing sites and trial management activities.
- Coordinate planting, trial management, data collection, and maize harvest operations.

Team Coaching and Development
- Train and mentor permanent and temporary staff.

Data Management and Analysis

Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between:

Budget and Resource Management
- Manage project budgets.

Safety, Compliance and Quality
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) requirements.

Equipment and Technology Management

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in:
- Agronomy
- Plant Breeding
- Agriculture
- Or another related field.
Experience

- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a field-testing environment.
- Experience in agricultural research or crop production operations.
