Position Summary
The Programme Manager Nature & Climate will oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of Danmission’s nature and climate programmes. The role also focuses on strengthening partnerships, influencing policy, supporting fundraising efforts, and ensuring high-quality programme delivery that aligns with Danmission’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Programme and Project Management
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure effective management of the Nature & Climate programme portfolio.
- Support partners in developing project concepts, proposals, and funding applications.
- Advise the Regional Director on programme quality and performance.
- Prepare project implementation plans aligned with country programmes.
- Manage financial administration of projects in collaboration with finance teams.
Fundraising and Resource Mobilisation
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying funding opportunities with partners and the Regional Director.
- Leading or supporting donor proposal development.
- Conducting donor mapping and relationship-building activities.
- Supporting partners in securing resources for programme implementation.
Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Reporting
The Programme Manager will:
- Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) processes.
- Assist partners in documenting project outcomes and lessons learned.
- Promote integration of Human Rights-Based Approaches (HRBA) and gender equality.
- Support preparation of reports for donors and other stakeholders.
Partnership Development and Local Leadership

Communication and Representation
