Boarding Parent/House Master (Male)

Location: Arusha, Tanzania (Smith Campus)

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure the safety, health, and welfare of boarding students.
  • Supervise and guide students throughout boarding activities.
  • Enforce school rules, routines, and study schedules.
  • Organize and support extracurricular activities.
  • Create a safe, caring, and family-like boarding environment.
  • Promote discipline, punctuality, cleanliness, and responsible behavior.
  • Uphold child protection, safety, and security procedures.
  • Report and follow up on student welfare concerns.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and professional development.
  • Serve as a positive role model for all students.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess:

  • Tanzanian citizenship.
  • A Post-Form Six Diploma in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in educational management.
  • Minimum age of 32 years.
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and holistic education.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work overnight and on weekends.
  • Ability to adapt to school policies and procedures.

Added Advantage

  • Previous clinical or nursing experience.
