Position Overview
1. Irrigation Designer
The Irrigation Designer will work closely with clients to develop customized irrigation solutions, including centre pivots, drip irrigation, and micro-irrigation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments.
- Design customized irrigation systems.
- Prepare quotations, bills of quantities, and technical drawings.
- Manage irrigation projects from design through commissioning.
- Provide after-sales technical support.
2. Counter Salesperson
The Counter Salesperson will assist customers by promoting Agrico products, providing product information, managing stock, and delivering excellent customer service.
3. Irrigation Technician
The Irrigation Technician will assist with the installation, maintenance, servicing, and technical support of irrigation systems while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience (where applicable).
- A valid Code 08 driver’s licence.
- Own reliable transport.
- Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Honesty, diligence, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime when required.
The Following Will Be an Added Advantage
- Model Maker or AutoCAD experience.
- Matric certificate with Mathematics.
- Agricultural Degree or Diploma.
- Engineering Degree or Diploma.
- Completion of SABI courses.
