CNG Operations Engineer / Station Manager
Location: Lindi Region, Tanzania

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing CNG station operations, ensuring safe gas handling, supervising operational activities, and maintaining compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
The CNG Operations Engineer / Station Manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting commissioning, startup, and daily operation of the CNG station.
- Operating and monitoring CNG compression, storage, dispensing, and gas delivery systems.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting equipment inspections and troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinating preventive maintenance activities.
- Managing CNG tube trailer filling, loading, and unloading operations.
- Supervising CNG vehicle refueling operations.
- Ensuring safe and professional customer service at the station.
- Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintaining operational records and documentation.
- Training and supervising CNG operators and station attendants.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related engineering fields from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in CNG station operations, natural gas facilities, or related industries.
- Practical experience with:
- CNG compressors and high-pressure gas systems.
- CNG tube trailer filling and handling operations.
- CNG storage cascades and dispensing systems.
- CNG vehicle refueling stations.
- Equipment troubleshooting and safe gas handling procedures.
- Experience in CNG station commissioning and startup will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of HSE practices and emergency response procedures.
