- Inspect and assess the quality, ethics, and standards of artistic works
- Coordinate the distribution and promotion of arts content through digital and media platforms such as YouTube, WhatsApp, and the internet
- Organize and participate in arts events including festivals, competitions, concerts, and awards
- Engage with fine artists and craftsmen to evaluate and support their work

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts Studies or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Arts Officer II (Music)
This position is focused on supporting the growth, regulation, and professional development of the music industry in Tanzania.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The role includes:
- Providing advisory and technical support for the development of the music sector
- Planning, coordinating, and implementing music development projects
- Designing strategies that promote and support the growth of the music industry
- Managing registration and formalization of music artists and stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records of music-related activities
- Preparing progress reports and conducting industry research
- Analyzing trends, challenges, and opportunities in the music industry
- Performing any additional duties assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Fine and Performing Arts (Music), Music Business, or related fields from a recognized institution.
Remuneration
Successful candidates will be employed under PGSS 6 salary scale, as per government employment regulations.
