Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving and processing tuition fees, service charges, and other payments
- Issuing official receipts and maintaining accurate daily cash records
- Preparing and reconciling daily cash reports
- Depositing collected funds into designated university bank accounts
- Assisting students and staff with payment-related inquiries
- Ensuring compliance with university financial policies and Tanzanian tax regulations
- Safeguarding cash and maintaining strict confidentiality of financial data
- Supporting the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly budget reforecasts
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or ACA will be an added advantage
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in cashiering or financial administration
- Strong numerical and organizational skills
