Kafika House is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and dependable Finance Coordinator to support the Chief Finance Officer in managing day-to-day financial operations. The role focuses on ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with both donor and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile key accounts including bank, payables, receivables, and payroll
- Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Maintain accurate accounting records and finance systems
2. Donor & Grant Financial Management
- Track restricted and unrestricted funds across grants
- Ensure compliance with donor budgets and reporting requirements
- Prepare donor financial reports for CFO review
- Monitor expenditures and analyse budget variances
- Identify financial risks and provide insights for decision-making
3. Facility Financial Oversight
- Support supervision of Facility Administrator

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
