About the Role
UNITEC Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to lead design functions and oversee the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a candidate with a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, drive technical excellence, and deliver high-value engineering projects.
The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping technical strategies, ensuring efficient project delivery, and acting as a key liaison between clients, regulators, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Leadership
- Lead engineering design processes and conduct comprehensive design reviews
- Develop and implement technical strategies across projects
- Ensure compliance with international design standards
2. Project Management
- Oversee project planning, execution, and resource allocation
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget
- Maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables
3. Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team
- Provide continuous technical guidance and professional development support
4. Stakeholder Management
- Engage with clients, regulatory authorities, and project stakeholders
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 10–15+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project delivery
- Proven track record in managing large-scale or complex infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and modern design tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver commercially viable solutions
- Mandatory registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent
