1. Customer Service Representative / Briefer (German Speaking) – Arusha

Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative will act as the primary point of contact for clients arriving in Arusha, ensuring smooth guest experiences. Responsibilities include conducting briefings/debriefings for safaris, coordinating arrivals and departures, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, drivers, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, providing personalized welcome and departure packs.
- Conduct detailed briefings and debriefings for clients and drivers.
- Ensure hotel rooming lists are accurate, manage luggage issues, and handle flight reconfirmations.
- Proactively offer and sell excursions to enhance the guest experience.
- Inspect vehicles to meet company standards and prepare weekly reports for management.
- Resolve complaints by identifying causes and coordinating solutions with management.
Requirements:
- Fluency in German and English (verbal and written).
- Diploma in Tour Operations, Customer Care, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in tourism customer service.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including being reachable 24/7 while on duty.
2. Tour Consultant – Zanzibar

Position Overview:
The Tour Consultant will manage tour requests from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring compliance with the company’s quality service standards. The role emphasizes efficient booking management, documentation, and relationship-building with agents and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming tour requests, prepare accurate quotations, and manage reservations, confirmations, and invoicing.
- Prepare tour files, guest envelopes, vouchers, and brief tour guides.
- Respond to agent inquiries within 24 hours and prepare detailed proposals to maximize conversions.
- Ensure correct service entries in the Tourplan system and negotiate with suppliers for better rates.
- Maintain close relationships with clients, agents, and suppliers.
- Ensure operational handover documentation is provided 14 days before client arrival.
Requirements:
- Degree-level education, preferably in Tourism or Hospitality.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- ICT proficient, with strong English communication skills. Foreign language skills are a plus.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
