1. Multiple Accounting Vacancies
AKO Group Limited is currently hiring for several accounting positions in multiple regions of Tanzania.
a) Assistant Accountant (2 Posts)
Locations: Mara & Shinyanga
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and bank transactions.
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and files.
- Support inventory and cost management.
b) Accounts Payable Officer (1 Post)
Location: Dar es Salaam
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor invoicing, payments, and account reconciliation.
- Monitor outstanding payables and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of daily payment transactions.
- Maintain detailed records of accounts payable activities.
General Qualifications (Both Roles):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

2. Site Controller – Tanga
Position Summary:
AKO Group Limited is seeking a qualified Site Controller to manage site accounting and financial operations in Tanga.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site accounting and financial reporting.
- Monitor budgets, costs, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Support inventory and cost management.
- Prepare periodic financial reports for the Head Office.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
