About the Role
As a Business Development Officer, you will play a critical role in managing loan accounts, ensuring timely repayments, and providing top-notch customer service. This role combines fieldwork with administrative responsibilities and offers hands-on experience in microfinance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and follow up on open accounts for repayment collection.
- Collect loan payments in accordance with agreed repayment plans.
- Perform customer due diligence and maintain proper KYC documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Manage front desk duties and assist in administrative tasks.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Performance Targets (KPIs)
- Achieve monthly targets for disbursement, collection, new customer acquisition, and active customer engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Secondary/High School education.
- Willingness to relocate to the assigned region.
- Experience in microfinance or financial services is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities.
- Self-driven, dependable, and a team player.
- Basic computer literacy is required; ownership of a smartphone is advantageous.
