Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this Household Aid position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Education
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience
- Relevant and recognisable experience in:
- Cleaning services
- Linen management
- Food handling
Inherent Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
- Willingness to work shifts, including:
- Day and night shifts
- Weekends
- Public holidays
- Ability to rotate between departments according to operational needs.

Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Ability to mix cleaning solutions safely and correctly

Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Household Aid at the West Coast TB Centre, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining effective, efficient, and safe hygiene standards in hospital wards
- Serving meals and refreshments to patients
- Handling and disposing of waste safely
- Providing support to the Supervisor
- Ensuring proper utilisation of hospital resources
This role plays a vital part in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and patient care standards within the healthcare facility.
