Job Opportunity: Junior Graphic Designer (1 Position)
Mwiba Holdings Limited is inviting applications from creative and detail-oriented individuals to fill the position of Junior Graphic Designer. This role is based in Arusha, with rotational assignments to other company properties when required. The successful candidate will join the Marketing Team and work closely with the Head Designer to produce visually appealing and brand-consistent materials across both digital and print platforms.
Role Overview
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will contribute to a wide range of creative projects, including digital content, printed materials, presentations, and guest-facing communication tools. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow creatively while working in the hospitality and conservation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and adapt marketing materials such as brochures, information booklets, social media graphics, and presentation designs
- Design print-ready files for conservation materials, guest communications, and trade show collateral
- Support the company’s digital presence through social media assets and website graphics
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms
- Take design briefs from various departments and deliver high-quality work within set deadlines
- Assist with photo editing and basic layout tasks for multiple projects
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (preferred) or Canva
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Based in Arusha and willing to work from the office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Passion for hospitality and conservation
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote team members
- Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Basic understanding of print production processes
- Interest in or knowledge of Tanzania’s wildlife and conservation landscape
- A portfolio demonstrating creative design work (any level is welcome)
