1. ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Location: Dar es Salaam
Employment Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for financial and inventory management activities, including:
- Performing raw material reconciliations between the General Ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and physical stock
- Reviewing daily sales reports from feed shops and depots and reconciling finished feed stocks
- Reviewing invoices from feed transporters and claims from casual labourers before payment approval
- Coordinating raw material transfers between locations and ensuring monthly maize stock counts in silos
- Running daily production outputs in the system
- Preparing and posting month-end journal entries
- Participating in statutory audits, internal audits, and physical stock counts
- Performing any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience
- Age between 22 and 35 years
2. CREDIT CONTROLLER
Location: Dar es Salaam
Employment Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
The Credit Controller will handle invoicing, collections, reporting, and reconciliation duties, including:
- Preparing proforma and commercial invoices for eggs, chicks, and processed chicken
- Processing approved credit notes
- Ensuring daily collection of payments from customers and issuing demand notices to defaulters
- Preparing weekly collection reports (every Monday before 10:00 AM)
- Preparing weekly accounts receivable aging reports
- Reporting daily cash sales for all depots
- Reconciling POS data with EFD Z-reports and bank statements
- Conducting month-end and year-end stock counts
- Preparing and posting standard journal entries
- Resolving customer payment-related complaints on a daily basis
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience
- Age between 22 and 35 years
