The positions are project-based and located at various project sites across Tanzania, TIES Tanzania Multiple Technical Vacancies February 2026.

TIES is a reputable engineering company specializing in integrated engineering solutions, particularly within the mining and industrial sectors. The company is seeking motivated individuals to join its technical teams under contract and project-based engagements.

1. Boiler Makers (10 Positions)

TIES is looking for skilled and experienced Boiler Makers to support fabrication, installation, and commissioning of mechanical structures and equipment used in mineral processing plants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fabrication, assembly, and installation of steel structures, tanks, chutes, pipes, and plant equipment
  • Cutting, rolling, welding, and fitting of steel plates and sections
  • Interpretation of engineering and fabrication drawings
  • On-site welding, repair works, and compliance with safety and quality standards

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Boiler Making, Welding, or Mechanical Fabrication
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in mineral processing plants or heavy industrial projects
  • Proficiency in arc welding, MIG welding, and oxy-acetylene cutting
  • Experience in CIP/CIL, flotation, crushing, or milling plants is an added advantage

2. Electrical Technicians (5 Positions)

The company is also recruiting Electrical Technicians to carry out electrical installation, testing, and commissioning works within mineral processing facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation of electrical cables, trays, panels, and control systems
  • Wiring and termination of motors, MCCs, VFDs, starters, and control panels
  • Electrical testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting
  • Support during plant commissioning and start-up activities

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or related field
  • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial projects
  • Hands-on experience with MCCs, motors, VFDs, PLC interfacing, and plant instrumentation
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

3. Plumbers (3 Positions)

TIES is seeking experienced Plumbers to install, test, and commission piping systems used in mineral processing plants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation of process piping, slurry pipelines, water supply lines, and drainage systems
  • Fabrication and installation of steel, HDPE, PVC, and rubber-lined pipes
  • Pressure testing, leak testing, and flushing of pipelines
  • Reading and interpreting piping layouts, isometric drawings, and general arrangement drawings

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Certificate or Trade Test in Plumbing, Pipe Fitting, or Mechanical Installation
  • At least 2–4 years’ experience in mineral processing plants or heavy industrial installations
  • Experience working with slurry pipelines and high-pressure systems is an added advantage
  • Strong practical skills and good safety awareness
