Revenue Collector (Nafasi za Mkusanyaji wa Mapato) 26 Posts
The council is inviting qualified, energetic, and trustworthy individuals to apply for the position of Revenue Collector. A total of 26 positions are available.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Collecting council revenue from various legally approved sources.
- Ensuring that all collected funds are properly deposited in designated bank accounts.
- Preparing and submitting daily or periodic revenue collection reports to Village Executive Officers, the District Executive Director, or other assigned supervisors.
- Issuing official receipts to individuals or businesses that make payments.
- Educating the community on the importance of paying taxes, fees, and levies on time.
- Performing any other duties related to revenue collection as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen aged between 18 and 45 years.
- Must have at least primary education and be able to read and write.
- Must be able to use a smartphone, as digital systems may be used in revenue collection.
- Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIDA).
Salary / Allowance
Selected candidates will be paid a monthly allowance of TZS 200,000.
