Job Summary
The Direct Sales Officers will support the sales of retail banking liabilities products at the branch level. The role focuses on achieving agreed sales targets through proactive selling while delivering excellent customer service in line with NBC Bank’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and actively sell liabilities (deposit) products to meet sales targets.
- Provide hands-on sales support, including quality lead generation and effective follow-up to convert leads into sales.
- Participate in sales activations and marketing campaigns to achieve specific performance goals.
- Ensure all onboarded customers are active and digitally connected to NBC banking platforms.
- Complete account opening processes with customers in accordance with NBC Bank policies before submission to operations.
- Comply with NBC operational risk requirements, including Health & Safety standards, KYC, and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: At least Form Four, Certificate, Diploma, or Degree
- Minimum Age: 18 years and above
- Knowledge of banking products
- Strong sales drive with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player while taking individual accountability for results
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of effective follow-up
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
