Dar es Salaam, Januari 2026 – The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), one of Tanzania’s premier institutions for health and allied sciences, has announced multiple employment and volunteer opportunities as part of its continued institutional growth and strategic development, MUHAS Jobs and Volunteer Opportunities 2026.
Established in 2007 under the Universities Act No. 7 of 2005, MUHAS has expanded its academic, research, and enterprise activities across seven Schools and one academic Institute. To support these initiatives, the University is inviting applications from qualified and motivated Tanzanian citizens to fill several positions in different units.
Strengthening Institutional Sustainability at MUHAS
In pursuit of long-term sustainability and reduced reliance on external funding, MUHAS developed and adopted the MUHAS Business Development Plan. This plan focuses on strategic investments, commercialization of university assets, and structured public–private partnerships.
To implement this agenda, MUHAS established the MUHAS Business Development Unit (MBDU) under the Office of the Vice Chancellor. The Unit coordinates business development, investment oversight, and commercialization activities to enhance internally generated revenue and institutional impact.
