Available Positions

1. Public Sector Strengthening (PSS) Cluster Coordinator (1 Position)

Duty Station: Dar es Salaam

Reporting to the PSS Lead, the PSS Cluster Coordinator will oversee and coordinate Public Sector Strengthening activities across assigned councils and facilities. The role focuses on strengthening service delivery, ensuring compliance with MSI clinical quality standards, managing costed workplans, and meeting donor requirements.

The Coordinator plays a key role in promoting high-quality sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement within supported regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate SRH and family planning activities in supported councils and facilities
  • Collaborate with MOHCDGEC, RHMTs, CHMTs, LGAs, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate supportive supervision, training, mentorship, and on-the-job coaching
  • Ensure uninterrupted availability of FP commodities and strengthen supply chain systems
  • Support data quality, reporting, and use of systems such as PETRAS, DHIS2, and ORION
  • Lead demand-generation initiatives and strengthen CHW referral systems
  • Support donor reporting and ensure compliance with project requirements

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences
  • Valid professional registration/license
  • Additional training in project management is an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years working with donor-funded projects
  • Field coordination experience preferred
  • Experience in family planning and advocacy

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively (75%)
  • High integrity, enthusiasm, and teamwork orientation

2. Assistant Clinical Quality Coordinator (ACQC) – 2 Positions

Duty Stations: Mwanza and Makambako

The Assistant Clinical Quality Coordinator works under the Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure that outreach teams comply with MSI and Ministry of Health clinical quality standards. The role involves monitoring provider competency, conducting Clinical Quality Internal Audits (CQIA), and supporting continuous quality improvement in donor-funded outreach projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with MSI and MOH clinical quality standards
  • Support CQIA, competency assessments, IPC, and informed choice counselling
  • Monitor clinical governance, incident reporting, and medical emergency management
  • Conduct regular field supervision and record reviews
  • Support uninterrupted FP commodity availability and supply forecasting
  • Participate in project review meetings and outreach monitoring
  • Support risk mitigation and Quality Technical Audits (QTA)

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Valid professional registration/license
  • MSI Competency Level 1 in long- and short-acting FP methods

Experience

  • At least 2 years of clinical service delivery experience
  • Experience in LARC, permanent methods, data reporting, and stock management

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to travel extensively (75%)

3. Senior Centre Manager (1 Position)

Duty Station: Dar es Salaam

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Centre Manager is a key member of the senior management team responsible for overseeing MSI Tanzania’s clinic network. The role focuses on performance management, quality assurance, financial sustainability, people leadership, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight to Centre Managers
  • Monitor clinic performance, service quality, and client experience
  • Ensure compliance with MSI and MOH standards
  • Strengthen financial controls, stock management, and asset oversight
  • Drive business development, demand generation, and sustainability
  • Lead people management, coaching, and talent development

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in Health Sciences, Social Business, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
  • At least 5 years of senior management experience in health systems or social business
  • Proven leadership, people management, and strategic planning skills
