1. Mathematics Teacher – Grade III C (709 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching notes, and instructional materials.
  • Develop and utilize teaching and learning tools.
  • Teach, assess, and maintain records of student progress.
  • Monitor student attendance both in school and in class.
  • Support students’ mental, physical, and spiritual development, providing guidance and counseling.
  • Offer professional advice on educational progress.
  • Manage and maintain school equipment and resources.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the School Head.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education in Mathematics OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.

Salary Scale: TGTS-D

2. Physics Teacher – Grade III C (201 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching notes, and other instructional materials.
  • Create and utilize teaching and learning resources.
  • Conduct lessons, assess students, and maintain progress records.
  • Oversee student attendance and classroom conduct.
  • Provide guidance on students’ overall development.
  • Offer professional educational advice.
  • Manage school equipment and resources effectively.
  • Undertake additional duties assigned by the School Head.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education in Physics OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.

Salary Scale: TGTS-D

3. Child Care Assistant (2 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement integrated child care, upbringing, and early development plans (ECD).
  • Organize and execute daily schedules for assigned centers.
  • Ensure safe learning environments for children.
  • Refer cases beyond personal capacity to relevant authorities.
  • Identify children with Functional needs and provide appropriate support.
  • Participate in community awareness programs on child care and development.
  • Advise parents/guardians on child upbringing and development.
  • Prepare daily activity reports for assigned centers.
  • Engage in case management processes for children.
  • Support the establishment of child care and early development centers.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary school certificate (Form IV or VI) with training in Child Care, Early Childhood Development, Social Welfare, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

Salary Scale: TGS-B

General Requirements for All Applicants:

  • Must be Tanzanian citizens and not older than 45 years.
    • For non-degree positions in military institutions: maximum age 25 years.
    • For degree-level positions in military institutions: maximum age 30 years.

  • Attach a certified birth certificate and academic certificates.
  • Applicants employed in the public service must follow existing regulations (Circular No. CAC45/257/01/D/140, dated 30 Nov 2010).

  • Testimonials, provisional results, and result slips (Form IV/VI) will not be considered.
  • Qualifications obtained abroad must be verified by relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, NACTVET). GPA certificates required where applicable.
  • Public service employees require permission from the Permanent Secretary to apply.
  • Falsification of information will lead to legal action.
