Accountant
Location: Morogoro Positions Available: 1
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, payments, reporting, and statutory compliance. The role is critical in ensuring accurate financial information is available to support management decision-making and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Filing statutory returns and preparing budgets, cash flow, and management accounts
- Managing company assets, coffee stock, credit facilities, and staff loans
- Ensuring proper filing and documentation of accounting records
- Preparing financial reports for management use
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Managing Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- At least three years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Knowledge of the coffee industry is an added advantage
Business Supervisor
Locations: Mbinga (1 position) and Kagera (1 position)

The Business Supervisor will oversee regional operations, ensure profitability, supervise staff, and manage company assets. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with coffee producers, cooperatives, and other stakeholders within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day regional operations
- Ensuring cost-effective operations and profitability
- Supervising staff and monitoring performance targets
- Managing producer relationships and contract farming arrangements
- Overseeing coffee stock movements and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with coffee laws and regulations
- Coordinating coffee milling, deliveries, and buyer visits
- Preparing operational, inventory, and cost analysis reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills

Assistant Coffee Quality Officer
Locations: Mbinga and Kagera

This role focuses on maintaining and improving coffee quality by managing samples, conducting physical and sensory analysis, and ensuring all coffee meets MCCL’s quality standards before shipment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing and recording coffee samples in the laboratory
- Conducting physical analysis such as moisture content, defects, color, and odor
- Preparing and participating in cupping sessions
- Managing producer samples, stock lots, and pre-shipment samples
- Ensuring all coffee deliveries comply with MCCL quality requirements
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Coffee Quality & Trade (CQT) or a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, or a related field
- At least three years’ experience in coffee quality control or analysis
- Strong skills in coffee production, cupping, and quality assessment
- Excellent attention to detail and strong coffee knowledge
Assistant Logistics & Transportation Officer
Locations: Morogoro (1 position) and Dar es Salaam (1 position)

The Assistant Logistics & Transportation Officer will manage coffee storage, stock control, transportation, and fleet operations to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of coffee.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing coffee storage and warehouse operations
- Maintaining accurate coffee stock records and conducting quality checks
- Coordinating sorting activities, sample dispatch, and reporting
- Supporting factory maintenance and cleanliness
- Planning and supervising coffee shipments
- Managing fleet operations, inspections, and maintenance
- Ensuring compliance with transportation laws and regulations
- Supervising drivers and logistics staff
- Monitoring transportation costs and maintaining proper documentation
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport, or a related field
- Minimum of three years’ experience in logistics and transportation
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills

Roast Coffee Sales Officer
Location: Dar es Salaam

The Roast Coffee Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth of MCCL’s roasted coffee products through effective sales strategies, customer relationship management, and market development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies
- Managing customer relationships and handling feedback
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis
- Promoting products through trade shows, presentations, and social media platforms
- Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
- At least three years’ experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or the coffee industry
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and marketing skills
- Solid coffee knowledge is a strong advantage
