The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology of Tanzania wishes to inform all eligible Tanzanians about the prestigious Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance (MEIG Programme) Scholarship, offered by the University of Geneva in partnership with the United Nations Office in Geneva. This scholarship presents an excellent opportunity for Tanzanian graduates to advance their studies in international governance, diplomacy, and public policy while gaining global exposure.

Admission Requirements
Applicants for the MEIG Programme Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Upper Second Class.
- Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need, not only personally but also in relation to their immediate and extended families, employers, or any other persons who might otherwise contribute toward financing their studies.
Required Supporting Documents
All applicants are required to submit supporting documents. Documents not in English should be translated, but official certification of translations is not required. The required documents include:
- Income Statements: Copies of official statements of income for all individuals contributing to your household finances, including yourself.
- Financial Records: Official statements from banks or other savings institutions, and/or tax forms indicating available funds and assets.
- Scholarship Responses: Copies of responses to your other scholarship and/or loan requests, including from employers if applicable.
- Medical Certificate: Copy of a medical certificate, including results for HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B/C tests.
- Identification: Copy of a valid passport confirming your identification information.
- Motivation Statement: A written description (maximum 500 words) explaining the main motives for your scholarship request, in English.
