Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Processing creditor payments within the required 30-day period.
- Verifying invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy.
- Preparing and submitting paid batches for filing.
- Responding to payment and account queries from service providers.
- Preparing monthly creditor accounts and reconciliations.
- Processing salary-related financial transactions.
- Preparing monthly expenditure reports.
- Maintaining payment registers for all transactions.
- Preparing In-Year Monitoring (IYM) reports.
- Preparing expenditure documentation according to responsibility codes.
- Monitoring expenditure patterns and identifying fund misallocations.
- Assisting with the budget preparation process (MTEF, AENE, and ENE).
- Managing cash flow activities.
- Performing other financial administration duties as required.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related qualification.
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in Financial Management or a related environment.
- Knowledge of:
