TOTAL NUMBER OF ADVERTISED POSITIONS

The OCJ has advertised a total of 2 (two) positions:

  1. Assistant Director: Facilities Management (Ref No: 2026/03/OCJ)
  2. Supply Chain Practitioner (Ref No: 2026/04/OCJ)

1. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

Ref No: 2026/03/OCJ
Salary: R468 459 – R551 823 per annum (Level 09)
Centre: National Office, Midrand

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • National Diploma in Building Management / Construction Management / Project Management / Property or Real Estate Management (NQF Level 6)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in facilities or auxiliary services
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience at salary level 7 or 8
  • Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)

Key Knowledge Areas

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • National Environmental Management Act (NEMA)
  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • Supply Chain Management policies and procedures
  • Government budgeting and project management systems
  • Building regulations and infrastructure maintenance

Key Duties

  • Manage facilities infrastructure projects across OCJ service centres
  • Conduct accommodation and maintenance planning
  • Oversee office space allocation and infrastructure maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with facilities policies and SOPs
  • Manage contracts, outsourced services, and maintenance schedules
  • Supervise staff and provide mentorship and training
  • Monitor facilities expenditure and reporting systems

2. SUPPLY CHAIN PRACTITIONER

Ref No: 2026/04/OCJ
Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 per annum (Level 07)
Centre: Free State Provincial Service Centre

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Economics, or Public Administration (NQF Level 6)
  • At least 1 year experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)

Key Knowledge Areas

  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • Supply Chain Management frameworks and regulations
  • PPPFA, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Act
  • Asset and procurement management systems
  • Batho Pele Principles and departmental policies

Key Duties

  • Manage procurement and demand acquisition processes
  • Process requisitions and supplier payments
  • Maintain asset registers and stock control systems
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations
  • Conduct stock-taking and manage store operations
  • Supervise supply chain support processes and staff activities
