Position Overview
Sava-Tech Financial Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Intern to join its dynamic IT team. This internship offers hands-on experience in technical support, system maintenance, software development, and IT project participation within a professional financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware and software issues
- Assist in troubleshooting network and system problems
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems
- Maintain IT documentation and records
- Assist in software development or website updates (if applicable)
- Perform system testing and debugging
- Participate in IT projects and team meetings
- Assist in data extraction, visualization, and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with MS Office and basic troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL, SQL Server)
- Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of cybersecurity basics
- Familiarity with Unix systems and cloud infrastructure
- Basic knowledge of data visualization and presentation tools (Power BI, R)
